Delhi clears Rs.3,000cr clean-up for Yamuna
New Delhi, April 17 -- In a major step towards cleaning the Yamuna, the Delhi government's expenditure finance committee, chaired by Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, on Wednesday approved the establishment of 27 decentralised sewage treatment plants (D-STPs) at a cost of Rs.3,140 crore. The committee also cleared other projects, including electric bus charging stations at DTC depots in Dwarka and a high-security prison in Narela.
