Delhi airport plans 20% capacity increase by 2030
New Delhi, Oct. 30 -- The Indira Gandhi International Airport will boost its passenger handling capacity by nearly 20% to 125 million annually by 2029-30 without dismantling Terminal 2, said DIAL CEO Videh Kumar Jaipuriar.
The expansion will focus on building a new Pier E at Terminal 3, easing congestion at T1, and adding aircraft parking stands at T3.
DIAL CEO said they aim to achieve the increase without constructing a new terminal immediately....
