Mumbai, Nov. 20 -- A 46-year-old woman from Virar was arrested on Wednesday for allegedly causing the death of her neighbour by spraying a mosquito repellent on him during a quarrel over water scarcity. According to the police, the incident occurred at 11.30 pm on Tuesday in JP Nagar, Virar West, when an argument broke out between the victim, Umesh Pawar, 57, and the accused, Kunda Tupekar. Tupekar allegedly sprayed mosquito repellent on Pawar's face during the argument. "Pawar collapsed soon after and was taken to a nearby hospital, where he died while undergoing treatment. His body has been sent for post-mortem examination to determine the exact cause of death," said a police officer, adding that Pawar and Tupekar lived in opposite flats and had a long-running dispute. Subsequently, Tupekar was booked under Section 106 (culpable homicide not amounting to murder) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and was arrested on Wednesday. She will be produced before a court on Thursday, the police said....
