India, Feb. 29 -- A fast-moving wildfire burning through the Texas Panhandle grew into the second-largest blaze in state history Wednesday, forcing evacuations, triggering power outages, and briefly shutting down a nuclear weapons facility as firefighters struggled to contain the widening flames. The Pantex plant, northeast of the city of Amarillo, paused operations, constructed a fire barrier to protect its facilities and evacuated non-essential staff Tuesday night out of an "abundance of caution". "All weapons and special materials are safe and unaffected," Pantex had said. The plant said it's opening for a normal day shift on Wednesday, but did not specify whether the danger had passed.P15...
