India, May 4 -- Several VVPAT slips were found strewn beside a road in the Noapara constituency of West Bengal's North 24 Parganas district on Sunday, triggering a fresh row on the eve of the poll verdict. The BJP, TMC and CPI(M) have accused the Election Commission of India (ECI) of gross negligence. Supporters of the three parties rushed to the spot and stopped the police from seizing the slips found among bushes beside a road.
