Mumbai, Sept. 16 -- Forty-four students scored 100 percentile, while 18 got the first rank in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Mains, results of which were announced after midnight on September 14. According to the information shared by the National Testing Agency (NTA), last year, 24 students had managed to score 100 percentile.

Eighteen-year-old Atharva Tambat, a resident of Vashi, is one of the 18 rank one holders.
