UP man fleeing with SUV killed in Goa
Panaji, Nov. 2 -- A tourist from Uttar Pradesh was allegedly murdered by a 31-year-old man in Goa for attempting to steal an SUV he had rented from the accused, police said on Saturday, adding that three accused have since been arrested.

"They then brought the car along with Chaudhary to Thivim and assaulted him." Gupta said that the accused then left Chaudhary in an injured condition in the hilly area of Thivim on Thursday night. "They purchased a liquor bottle from Thivim and placed it in his pants pocket to portray as if he was drunk," he added.
So far, police said, Lawande and two of his accomplice have been arrested and efforts are underway to locate the other accused. Police have registered a case of murder, based on a complaint filed by the deceased's father, who arrived in Goa and identified the body....
