NAVI MUMBAI, Oct. 3 -- A tempo driver and cleaner were killed after their vehicle crashed into a parked dumper in Ulwe on Wednesday morning. Repair work was going on at the spot and the dumper was parked outside the barricaded repair area, in a no-parking zone, the police said. The accident occurred at 4.45 am when the driver Umesh Utekar and the cleaner Suyog Pawar were transporting goods from Chiplun to Bhiwandi. Near Ulwe Bridge, Utekar failed to notice the dumper in time and rammed into it. "They got crushed inside the tempo and died on the spot," the police said....
