Truck driver killed in crash with BEST bus in aarey colony
MUMBAI, Jan. 2 -- A 30-year-old truck driver died after a BEST wet lease bus collided with the truck in Aarey Milk Colony in the early hours of Thursday.
The police said that the bus was speeding when the driver lost control of the vehicle and it skidded and rammed headlong into an oncoming truck. The bus driver and conductor were also injured in the incident.
The incident comes just three days after a BEST bus was involved in a fatal accident outside Bhandup railway station. BEST buses have been involved in 958 accidents between January 2023 and December 2025, leading to the death of 77 people, data has revealed.P3...
