Dharamshala, June 27 -- The toll in rain-related incidents in Himachal Pradesh increased to five as three more bodies were recovered on Thursday, officials said, adding that seven others were missing as flash floods triggered by cloudbursts continued to wreak havoc in the hill state. Five bodies have been recovered from Khanyara area in Dharamshala in Kangra district after they were washed away due to a sudden rise in the water level of Manuni Khad. Four other people were feared dead in connection with the incident, district administration officials said, adding that one other person was rescued on Thursday. Police identified the deceased as as Chain Singh (20), Aditya Thakur, Pardeep Verma (35), Chandan, and Sanjay. The development comes a day after workers stationed at a labour colony near the Indira Priyadarshini Hydroelectric project site were swept away following a surge in water level in Manuni Khad. Loveli from Chamba area, who managed to escape before the flash floods hit, was found in a nearby forest area....
