T1 upgrade to raise passenger capacity by '29
MUMBAI, Jan. 29 -- T1, the oldest terminal of Mumbai airport, will undergo a massive overhaul and soon have the capability to process 20 million passenger per annum (MPPA). This is a 42% increase from its current capacity, ensuring the terminal meet demands of India's burgeoning aviation market. The reconstruction will be carried out in phases, starting by November 2025 and is expected to be completed by 2028-29, with minimal disruption. T2 will shoulder additional traffic in this time....
