India, April 16 -- Industrial units in Noida Phase-2 largely resumed operations on Wednesday, after two days of violence related to protests over a wage hike, with police and administration reporting only scattered demonstrations that were swiftly contained. "The situation is under control, and industrial activity is returning to normal," said Suyash Pandey, assistant labour commissioner, GB Nagar. Officials and workers said operations resumed across a range of units, including electronics, apparel and toy manufacturing clusters, which had seen partial disruption earlier.
