Sloth bear enters crowded area in Chandrapur, rescued within 4 hours
Mumbai, April 14 -- The Maharashtra forest department on Friday rescued an adult male sloth bear from a crowded urban area in Brahmapuri, Chandrapur district. The bear was later released in Dhamangaon beat of Bramhapuri forest after a four-hour operation. This is for the first time in five years that the city had witnessed a human-animal conflict situation, forest officers said....
