Slew of steps to ensure office-goers' comfort
Mumbai, Sept. 1 -- With the Maratha quota protest in Azad Maidan spilling into the week, authorities have put a slew of measures in place to ensure office-goers are not inconvenienced Monday onwards, especially in south Mumbai.
Additional police will be deployed in the area, said joint commissioner of police (law and order), Satyanarayan. The BMC has also hired a housekeeping firm, which has deployed 500 workers to clean up CSMT, Fort, and nearby areas.
