Sajjan Kumar to be sentenced next week
India, Feb. 22 -- A Delhi court on Friday reserved for February 25 its order on the quantum of sentence against former Congress MP Sajjan Kumar in a murder case relating to the 1984 anti-Sikh riots. On February 12, the court convicted Kumar of inciting a mob that killed Jaswant Singh, 50, and his son Tarundeep Singh, 18, in Saraswati Vihar on November 1, 1984. On Friday, the family of the victim sought death penalty for Kumar. The prosecution had also sought Capital punishment of Kumar on Tuesday.HTC...
