Mumbai, Sept. 1 -- Two plots - one in Bandra and the other in Mahalaxmi - will be leased out by Indian Railways in an attempt to raise revenue. The Rail Land Development Authority (RLDA), which handles commercial use of IR's vast assets in land, has called for bids from parties interested in leasing the Mahalaxmi plot, while the request for proposals for the Bandra plot is likely to be floated later this week, sources in IR told HT.
