Metro 3: Safety inspection on BKC to Worli stretch begins
MUMBAI, April 8 -- The much-awaited second phase of Mumbai's underground Metro Line 3 is inching closer to public launch, with the commissioner of Metro Rail Safety (CMRS) beginning final inspections on the 9.77-km stretch between Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) and Acharya Atre Chowk in Worli. If all goes as planned, Mumbaiites may soon be commuting beneath the Mithi River as early as next week....
