India, Jan. 15 -- In an important decision taken in its Apex Council meeting on Wednesday, the Mumbai Cricket Association has decided to introduce central contracts for its senior team players from next season. It will be excluding the India players who have the BCCI contracts and the IPL players. Asked about the details of the contract system, MCA President Ajinkya Naik said: "After this season we will decided the exact contract details and amount." Among other important decisions, the MCA will start a dedicated scouting tournament for discovering new talent for its T20 league and also introduce an inter-college tournament named after former India captain Dilip Vengsarkar.
