Mahayuti poll pact delayed as Shinde flexes muscle for BMC
MUMBAI, Dec. 26 -- Despite marathon meeting over the last two days, the Mahayuti partners, BJP and Shiv Sena, have not been able to come to a consensus on seat-sharing.
The reason behind the impasse, said people aware of developments, was deputy chief minister Eknath Shinde's tough stand on garnering more seats than what the BJP was offering.
