Mumbai, Oct. 11 -- The city may see a spurt of skyscrapers as the state government has simplified the process for their approval. As per the modified Development Control and Promotional Rules (DCPR), 2034, notified on Friday, the municipal commissioner can clear proposals for high rises measuring between 120 to 180 metres (approximately 35-50 storeys) provided structural design and certified geo-technical reports are submitted.
