India clinches its highest medal tally
India, Oct. 7 -- India has finished 10th in the World Para Athletics Championships and secured its highest tally in the World Championships, bringing home 22 medals, including six gold, nine silver and seven bronze, surpassing their best of 17 at the 2024 edition in Kobe, Japan. India got three silver medals on Sunday with Simran Sharma winning the women's 100m T12, Preeti Pal the women's 100m T35 and Navdeep the men's javelin throw T41.
