New Delhi, Aug. 7 -- India and Russia are actively exploring opportunities in rare earth and critical minerals extraction, coal gasification, and cooperation in aluminium and fertiliser sourcing ignoring the US threat to impose punitive tariffs on America-bound Indian goods for doing business with Moscow. New Delhi and Moscow on Wednesday held the 11th session of the India-Russia working group on modernisation and industrial cooperation in the Indian capital under the framework of the India-Russia Intergovernmental Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific, Technological and Cultural Cooperation, the commerce and industry ministry said in a statement. The meeting reviewed the progress made since the 10th session and provided a platform to strengthen cooperation across key sectors, the statement said.
