MUMBAI, Feb. 13 -- An 81-year-old-woman who was run over by a tempo on February 6 died on Wednesday. The incident had occurred on Sayani road in Dadar West, and the woman, Nalini Mayeker, was being treated for head injuries when she passed away, police said. According to the police, Mayeker resided in Khed Galli in Dadar West. On February 6, she stepped out to buy groceries and was crossing the road when she was run over by a tempo. Mayekar suffered head injuries and was rushed to King Edward Memorial Hospital in Parel, where she was being treated," a police officer familiar with the case told Hindustan Times, requesting anonymity.
