Kolkata, April 26 -- Union home minister Amit Shah and West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee traded barbs on Saturday as campaigning intensified ahead of the second phase of the state's assembly elections on April 29. Shah, at a rally in East Midnapore, claimed the BJP would win at least 110 of the 152 seats that went to polls on April 23 and form the government. He attacked Banerjee over women's safety, citing incidents at Sandeshkhali and RG Kar, and accused her government of blocking CAA implementation. Banerjee, who held four rallies and two roadshows, countered that the TMC had already crossed 100 seats in the first phase.
