Ex-Haryana top cop appointed ITBPchief
India, Jan. 15 -- The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet on Wednesday approved the appointment of Shatrujeet Singh Kapoor, the former Haryana Police chief who was divested of his charge amid mounting pressure in wake of suicide by a fellow IPS officer, as the chief of the Indo-Tibetan Border Police. The panel has also cleared the appointment of Rakesh Aggarwal, a 1994-batch IPS officer, as the National Investigation Agency chief.
