Deepika Padukone named India's mental health ambassador
New Delhi, Oct. 11 -- The Union health ministry, on the occasion of World Mental Health Day on Friday, announced actor Deepika Padukone as its first-ever mental health ambassador.
"The partnership will help widely disseminate awareness about mental health issues, normalise discussions...and highlight mental health as an integral aspect of public health," Union health minister JP Nadda said.
