PATNA, Sept. 11 -- Even as the seat-sharing arrangement in the Opposition INDIA bloc in Bihar is still under wraps, there are indications of a broad consensus having been reached between the two main constituents - Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) and Congress - on seat distribution by setting up a kitty from their own quota of seats to accommodate smaller alliance partners. Leaders close to the deliberations said the formula for the seat-sharing deal being worked out is based on mutual understanding that RJD and Congress would leave 14 and 10 seats, respectively, from the total number of seats they contested in the 2020 assembly polls. In the previous state elections, the RJD had contested 144 seats while the Congress 70 seats. The 24-seat kitty would serve as a cushion to work out an amicable seat-sharing deal among all partners....
