Mumbai, Dec. 22 -- The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) booked the area sales manager of Western Coalfields Limited (WCL) in Nagpur and his wife in a disproportionate assets case on Thursday, after allegedly finding assets worth Rs.45.23 lakh beyond their known sources of income. According to the agency, after the case was registered, searches were held at multiple premises linked to the accused S Singh and his wife on Saturday. "Rs.17 lakh cash and 900 grams of gold were recovered. Apart from declared immovable assets, details of a house in Punjab, three agriculture land plots in Jharkhand, and a luxury vehicle were also found," an official said....
