New Delhi, May 9 -- Former Union minister and BJP leader Rajeev Chandrasekhar has moved the Delhi high court against city court's decision dismissing his criminal defamation complaint filed against Congress MP Shashi Tharoor. The defamation complaint stemmed from the remarks made by Tharoor in a TV interview given to a Malayalam news channel, "24 News", accusing Chandrashekhar of bribing voters in Thiruvananthapuram constituency during the 2024 Lok Sabha polls. In his complaint, Chandrashekhar said the allegations tarnished his image. The matter was listed on Thursday before a bench of justice Ravinder Dudeja but the same was adjourned as the senior lawyer appearing for Chandrasekhar was unavailable.
