Mumbai, March 25 -- The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Shiv Sena, Republican Party of India (RPI-A), and two other smaller political outfits came together for a mega rally in Kolhapur on Sunday, the alliance's first joint rally in the state ahead of the Lok Sabha elections next month. The BJP and Sena came together for the "ideology of Hindutva, and now, for power", CM Devendra Fadnavis said, while hitting out at the Opposition, Congress and Nationalist Congress Party (NCP). "We can see 56 political parties are coming together. You don't need 56 parties, but a 56-inch-chest to run the country," Fadnavis said. Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray spoke of the recent influx of opposition party leaders into the BJP, and also said he was "confident" the Ram temple would be built after the elections....
