Bengaluru, June 8 -- Two top Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) officials have resigned from their posts, taking "moral responsibility" for the deaths of 11 people in Bengaluru during chaotic celebrations for Royal Challengers Bengaluru's (RCB) maiden Indian Premier League (IPL) title victory earlier this week. In a joint statement, A Shankar and ES Jairam said they resigned from the posts of the association's secretary and treasurer respectively over the incident. "...though our role was very limited, we wish to state that we have tendered our resignation from our respective posts," the statement said.
