Axiom-4 launch delayed due to liquid oxygen leak during test
Mumbai, June 12 -- The Axiom-4 (Ax-4) mission, which was scheduled to carry Indian Air Force Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla on board a SpaceX Dragon spacecraft to the International Space Station (ISS), on Wednesday evening has been postponed, the Indian Space Research Organisation said on X.
"It is understood that LOX leakage was detected in the propulsion bay during the test. Based on the discussion on this topic by ISRO team with the experts of Axiom and SpaceX it has been decided to correct the leak and carry out necessary validation test. Hence the launch of Axiom 04 slated for June 11 2025 for sending first Indian Gaganyatri to ISS is postponed," Isro chairman V Narayanan said. P7...
