Mumbai, May 18 -- Karnataka's 20-year-old Avani Udipi clinched the All India Chess Masters tournament on Saturday. Udipi finished level on seven points with Maharashtra's Mayuresh Parkar, but was declared the winner due to a superior tiebreaker score of 36.5 to 32. Udipi, who has a FIDE rating of 1669 had a tiebreak score of 36.5 as opposed to Parkar's 32. Shaurya Patil shone with 51 for Vashi Centre against Palghar & Boisar Centre on a rain-marred first day of the MCA Kalpesh Govind Koli Tournament on Saturday.
