Mumbai, Feb. 21 -- Akshat Joshi and Sujal Khot (66) hit half-centuries as Rest of Mumbai Schools beat Dnyandeep Seva Mandal by seven wickets in the U-14 MSSA-JBCN Giles Super Cup on Friday at the Brabourne Stadium. Batting first, Dnyandeep Seva Mandal were bowled out for 177 in 42.5 overs. Medium-pacer Shivay Dalal picked up 2/12 while off-spinner Shaurya Gharat took 2/16. The batting team's only big scorer was Neil Naik, who scored 65 off 81 balls, hitting eight boundaries in his innings. In the second essay, Joshi hit 12 boundaries in his score of 72 from 96 deliveries while Khot struck nine shots to the fence from 104 balls in his core of 66. Atul Chaudhary took two wickets for 26 runs, but the Rest of Mumbai Schools team chased down the total in 42.5 overs. Mumbai players Siddhesh Lad and Tanush Kotian were the chief guests.
