Mumbai, May 10 -- Pankaj Advani displayed top class craftsmanship against Ketan Chawla to win his quarter-final match 7-1 in the NSCI Baulkline 4.0 All India Snooker Tournament.
In another last eight match, Himanshu Jain defeated Digvijay Kadian 7-2 and Ishpreet Singh Chadha beat Sourav Kothari 7-2.
Manpreet Singh's brace set the tone for Champions Training Centre's (CTC) 3-1 win over Union Bank of India in the semi-final of the Hockey Mumbai Super League on Friday.
CTC will face Mumbai Port Trust, who scored a 4-2 win over Central Railway.
The 33rd edition of the Kalpesh Govind Koli memorial cricket tournament will begin from Saturday. The opening ceremony will be held at the New Hind Sports Club, and will be graced by cricketers Tanush Kotian and Saima Thakor.
