India, Oct. 6 -- Four terrorists affiliated to proscribed outfits Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) and Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) were killed in two separate encounters with security forces in Jammu & Kashmir's Shopian district on Wednesday, police said. Three local JeM terrorists were killed in Shopian, while one LeT member was gunned down in the south Kashmir district, police officers added. In a post on Twitter, additional director general of police (ADGP), Kashmir, Vijay Kumar said: "Three local #terrorists linked with proscribed #terror outfit JeM killed in #encounter at Drach #Shopian." Two of them were identified as Hanan Bin Yaqoob and Jamshed, the officer said, adding they were involved in the "killing of a special police officer on October 2 in Pulwama and a migrant labourer on September 24 in the district".P8...
