Mumbai, Dec. 22 -- A major fire was reported at 7 am at the Ramabai Ambedkar Nagar Chawl, in Andheri East on Sunday. The fire broke out in a ground-plus-one-storey chawl and was initially confined to electrical wiring and installations before spreading to mattresses and clothes inside a first-floor room.
