PATNA, April 26 -- A 24-year-old woman was found dead under mysterious circumstances at a private medical college in Bihar's Kishanganj district, police said on Saturday, adding that they suspect it to be a case of suicide. The second-year MBBS student was found dead in her hostel room late Friday at MGM College. Following an alert from the hostel management, police rushed to the hostel and sent the deceased's body for postmortem to a government hospital. Police said they have registered an unnatural death case. "The victim was a resident of Bhojpur and was found hanging in her hostel room," said SDPO Mangalesh Kumar. "An FSL team arrived at the spot, videographed the scene, collected pictures of the spot and collected samples," he added. He said that the police has sealed her room for further investigation. "The police, which is currently investigating the case from all angles, can only reveal the cause once the postmortem report is available," said Kishanganj SP Santosh Kumar.
