India, June 10 -- Rehan Ansari, a daily wager from Bhiwandi, was critically injured after being dragged by a train near the Mumbra curve. His friend Samir Shaikh recalls the chaos. "One man slipped, then others fell like dominos. We somehow held onto Rehan, but his leg was dragged and he fell off the train. He is being treated for a fractured leg and severe head injuries." Rehan was the only earning member in his family back in Uttar Pradesh, sending money home every week. Now, he lies in a hospital bed, unable to move - his future uncertain, his family unaware of the disaster. "This was just another morning commute," said Samir.
