'Baba, I'll manage,' she said. Now she's in ICU
India, June 10 -- Just five days into her new job, Sneha Donde, 23, suffered serious head injuries in the crowding incident inside the local train from Titwala to Thane on Monday.
Her father, Gautam Donde, is shattered. "She was so full of life. I asked her how she'd manage the daily crowd, and she smiled and said, 'Baba, I'll manage.' Now she's in the ICU."
Sneha had purchased the first class ticket for her commute, thinking it would be safer, but the overcrowding left her with no protection.
"I have two daughters. Seeing one in this condition is unbearable," her father said through tears.
The family is anxiously awaiting her recovery, with no clarity on when she'll return to normal life - or if she can. "This incident left us in shock."...
