'All progress my child has made may be lost if she is shifted'
India, March 26 -- Amina Sheikh, parent of a Class 1 student, said her child has a disability affecting the lower part of her body. She explained that special schools have one teacher for every eight to 10 students, which helps ensure proper attention. Her child has shown improvement after receiving physiotherapy and care in school, and is now able to sit for some time.
Amina moved from Azamgarh to Mumbai for her child's treatment and education. She worries that regular schools will not provide such support.
"If my child is shifted, all the progress he has made may be lost," she said....
