PRAYAGRAJ, Dec. 3 -- The body of a 22-year-old man from Raniganj was found on Tuesday afternoon near the ATL ground along the Varanasi-Lucknow Highway, under the Dehat Kotwali police station limits in Pratapgarh district. The discovery has sparked allegations of murder from the victim's family. The deceased, identified as Akash Yadav of Pandit Ka Purwa in Harnaharpur village under the Raniganj police station area, had been missing since Monday evening. According to family members, Akash left home alone around 4 pm on Monday and failed to return. The family lodged a missing person's report at the Raniganj police station on Tuesday morning. Soon after, police received information about a body spotted near the highway. Station house officer Pushpraj Singh and sub-inspector Anup Yadav reached the location and recovered the body. Police have begun reviewing CCTV footage from Katra Medniganj and surrounding areas, and are examining his call detail records to trace his last movements. SHO said the family firmly suspects foul play. "The body has been sent for post-mortem. Investigation is underway on multiple fronts, and action will be taken based on evidence and the post-mortem findings," he said....
