Tensions escalated on Thursday as angry relatives and locals blocked the Lucknow-Hardoi Road, demanding the immediate arrest of those responsible. The deceased's brother, Sheelu Yadav, said that neither was Surendra rushed to a hospital nor were the family members informed immediately. "We got to know about the incident only around 8 pm, hours after he died," he claimed.
