LUCKNOW, June 29 -- Mohanlalganj cops, on Saturday, arrested a 22-year-old youth accused of raping an 18-year-old girl after luring her away from her home. The accused, Amresh alias Brijesh, a resident of Pursaini village, was taken into custody from Kalli Purba main road, based on a tip-off, police department stated in a release on Saturday. An official said that the case came to light when the girl's mother filed a missing complaint on June 20, stating her daughter had been missing since June 18. She alleged that Amresh, who is already married, had taken her daughter away. Acting on the complaint, police registered an FIR under Sections 87, 64(1), and 351(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) at Mohanlalganj police station, stated the release. Police found the girl and confirmed her age to be 18 years through official documents. A police team arrested Amresh on June 28 and he was sent to judicial custody....
