Young athletes shine at national school athletics meet
LUCKNOW, Dec. 14 -- Athletes from across the country showcased their competitive spirit, sportsmanship, grit, and dedication on Saturday as the 69th National School Athletics Championship kicked off at Guru Gobind Singh Sports College.
As part of the inaugural ceremony, 41 teams representing various states, Union Territories, and organisations across the country participated in a march past. Balloons symbolising love, hope, and commitment were also released. Additionally, schoolchildren presented cultural performances based on the themes-Developed India-Golden India, Sports, and Motivational Themes.
Deepak Kumar, agricultural production commissioner and president of the School Games Federation of India (SGFI) was present along with Parth Sarathi Sen Sharma, additional chief secretary secondary and basic education, and sports secretary Suhas LY during the inaugural session....
