Lucknow, Nov. 15 -- Chief minister Yogi Adityanath on Friday directed his ministers to focus on the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls and ensure that no genuine voter is left out, while ineligible names are excluded. Chairing a meeting of the council of ministers at Lok Bhawan, he said the SIR must remain a priority not only in the ministers' home districts but also in the districts for which they are in charge. Yogi stressed that every eligible person aged 18 and above should be enrolled. A senior minister said the council of ministers congratulated all those who campaigned in Bihar for the NDA's victory. Besides, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, chief minister Yogi Adityanath also campaigned there. Yogi, according to those aware of development, said the opposition made attempts to spread false narratives in Bihar and the same was demolished by the voters. He added that Uttar Pradesh, too, reflects a similar public mood and would likewise defeat any false narrative the opposition tries to create. The Uttar Pradesh Cabinet condemned the recent terror incident in Delhi, terming it an attack on the peace and security of the country.
