Agra, Jan. 8 -- A year-long series of events will mark the completion of 100 years of establishment of Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar University of Agra, the university has said. These events will start from July 1 and continue for a year. Formerly known as Agra University, Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar University was established in year 1927. Prof Ashu Rani, the vice chancellor, interacted with media persons in this regard on Tuesday evening. Prof Rani said a coffee table book will be released and an exhibition will be organised to mark the occasion. 'Students who brought glory to the university will be contacted and gathered to present an example to new generation undertaking courses at the university now. A competition will be organised to finalise 'logo' for the centenary year celebrations."...
