Wushu exponents excel with 7 medals at National Games
LUCKNOW, Feb. 2 -- The wushu exponents of Uttar Pradesh continued to hog the limelight at the 38th National Games in Uttarakhand even on Saturday, winning four gold medals in different categories. Suraj Yadav, Abhishek Tanwar, Prerna and Shruti won gold, whereas Bhanu Singh won the silver medal while two other players got bronze medals. With such fine performances of wushu exponents, Uttar Pradesh's medals tally now goes to 10 medals, which includes four gold, two silver and four bronzes. In the Sanda event Suraj Yadav of Varanasi won gold medals in the men's 70 kg weight category and Abhishek Tanwar of Gautam Buddha Nagar won gold medals in the 90 kg weight category....
