Lucknow, May 24 -- On the occasion of World Turtle Day, the Turtle Survival Alliance Foundation India (TSAFI), in collaboration with forest department (Awadh) and Lucknow Development Authority (LDA), organised an awareness drive at CG City Wetland, aiming to educate and inspire citizens about freshwater turtle conservation and wetland protection. Delivering the keynote speech, Dr Shailendra Singh, director of TSAFI, emphasised the ecological importance of India's freshwater turtles and the growing threats to their habitats.
