VARANASI, Feb. 27 -- A state-level workshop on "Linking India-Europe Opportunities with Uttar Pradesh" was held in Varanasi on Thursday under Phase II of the Cooperation and Dialogue on Migration and Mobility Project. The objective was to raise awareness among UP's youth, students and relevant stakeholders about safe, legal and ethical employment and education opportunities in European countries, and to strengthen institutional coordination at the state level. The workshop was organised by the UP employment directorate in collaboration with the ministry of external affairs, the government of India, the government of UP, and the European Union. UP employment minister Anil Rajbhar inaugurated the workshop. The minister stated that the UP government is working to create all employment opportunities for youth under its "Work for Every Hand" goal.
